I never really loved sweet potato fries until I had them at Little River BBQ in Townsend, TN.
- 3 medium sweet potatoes, cut into thin strips
- 2-3 tsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 – 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, depending on how much heat you want
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 425. Brush baking sheet lightly with oil.
Mix brown sugar, chili powder, pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes and salt. Toss potatoes in olive oil. Place on baking sheet. Sprinkle seasoning on potatoes.
Bake for 15 mins. Turn potatoes over and bake 15 more minutes. Fries are done when outside is crispy.
